For Sale - MoonLite CR2 dual rate focuser SOLD

The great sell-off continues as I continue my fundraising for the next scope purchase

Realised I no longer have any use (in the near future) for this minty-condition MoonLite CR2 dual rate focuser.

It's a beautiful bit of gear which I know IceMan and others will happily recommend as a focuser upgrade for a Newtonian.

I've got a whole swag of spacers and bolts that I bought from Ron Newman at MoonLite, which should make life easier when fitting to your scope.

I'll include a couple of adaptor plates which are handy for fitting to an 8" OTA, if that's what you've got. Otherwise you'll need to make/order a plate for fitting to OTAs of other aperture.

I'm looking for $330+postage but am open to offers.

Thanks for looking

Worth every cent. I have played with this focuser model on Iceman's and Wavelandscott's scopes. Buttery smooth, brings view to focus very naturally without a hint of backlash. I was so impressed I have ordered one for my next scope (triple focus option).

Does it come with the 1.25" adapter and is it the compression ring type?

Yes. Has the 1.25" adaptor.

No. Is not compression ring type.

Check out MoonLite's webpage for full specs

As an owner of one I can confirm that they are pretty "spiffy"...I like'em a lot.

PRICE ADJUSTMENT

I'll reduce the asking price for this "as new" premium newtonian focuser by $20...

Now asking $310 + postage.

Keep an eye on this one coz I want to sell.
