Was it something I said? According to me I have 7 posts and still can't post a classified. All I want to sell is a filter wheel.

Look at the "posting rules" at the bottom of the page. Tells you your privileges. If it says you can, contact the Mods.

New members wishing to place ads in the IceTrade Classifieds must be a member for at least 1 month, and have made at least 5 posts in any part of the forum. This does not impact new members' ability to buy items, including replying to threads or sending Private Messages to users.

my guess (and it is an uneducated one) that in your case you might have joined up ages ago but you have only just started to post regularly even though you have made some posts in the past (one a month over a long time), so for now you might have covered the month in theory but practically you have been posting for less than that regularly would be my guess
