Missing mount bracket - 10" dobsonian goto skywatcher

Hi guys,

I just bought this, it came in two boxes but i cant find the mount bracket on the side bearing for the goto telescope.

It comes with it right!?!? Cant find it anywhere everything else is in the boxes!! Which box is it supposed to be in?!

Also on the manual, one of the pictures of the bracket is blacked out.... highly weird!!

Sorry, hard to know what you are talking about (even though I have a SW goto dob).
Can you post some pictures of what you have and where you think a bracket is missing from.

I attached a pic - its the bracket on the bottom right which is meant to replace the side bearing on the telescope.

So that it fits into the base properly!

Ohh! Now it makes sense.
You bought an Upgrade Kit for your (previously non-goto) Dob.

Sorry, but as my goto was bought as a goto, this bracket was already attached, so I can't really help.
Except to say, go back to where you bought it, if your kit does not contain it, as it is vitally important.
Just a thought, it is not "attached" to the altitude gear box is it?

Hey i didnt buy a goto upgrade kit...that was just the page in the manual.

I bought the goto telescope new... though i think one of the two boxes is just the standard telescope and the other has all the goto stuff in it including the base??

But there was no bracket On the OTA is just the round brackets to sit in the cradle
Did i get the right boxes ?? Should it already be attached?

I went back and they lent me a bracket off a display telescope while they awaiting the manufacturer to email them back

You need to contact the seller ASAP did you buy this new from a shop ? or private ?, its useless the way it is sorry to say .

bought new from a shop.... all i am missing is the mounting bracket which they have now provided?

Useless in that its not usable with out the side bracket that ( Was ? ) is missing ?
