Above Elysium 8/6

Folks,

Other commitments prevented me from catching the face around Syrtis Major recently, but on Wednesday I seized the opportunity to get together with a mate and grab some photons reflected from around Elysium.

I'm trying out a new colour "balance" that brings out a little more blue, like the grown-ups get with their mono cams

Kit: C11 EdgeHD on EQ6, TV Powermate 2.5x, ZWO ASI224MC.

Cheers,
Dunk

Very neat & tidy results Dunk, looking rather natural colours, tried muckin with that blue last time aswell, but was showing upsome rather nasty purple patches about the white edges, bit weird I thought, maybe bit rough on settings, but these look as mentioned, Nice & Tidy ! Well done

Thanks Nik, Bob!

@Bob, the auto balance in Registax 6 does a very neutral job IMO. What I've been experimenting with is using the polar/cloud as the white reference. Might be a fools errand, but I quite like the results. It only needs a gentle nudge on the blue to give it the purported hue.
