The King Is Big !

Hi again all

This is a shot of Omega Centauri I took with C11 last summer that I wanted to share with you all.

At a distance of about 15 thousand lightyears It still is an incredible sight at the eyepiece .

Exposures were 30 seconds x 30 and shot with a SXV-H9C/IR from my back yard in Bankstown.

I hope all you glob lovers enjoy It.

Nice one Louie! Reminds me of my first sight of it last summer from Lostock, rising after midnight. Marvellous stuff, mate!

Beautiful Louie!

It really is one of the few DSOs which even complete newcomers to the eyepiece find impressive...

as well as those of us who look at it every time we're out
