Mars taken Friday night. High Cirrus cloud didn't get in the way of observing this occasion. Glad I did because the remaining forecast is good for putting the feet up by the fire and waiting for clear skies...

Superb! I was out looking at the high cirrus cloud on Friday night here in Mekbourne too and didn't bother using my scope. Looking at the result you got, maybe I should have. Looks like the seeing must have been pretty good to combat the low transparency. Well done you for giving it a go. Great result, despite the less than ideal conditions.
