Sct, dslr, Barlow, prime focus

Dear Members,

I apologise for this very beginner question, but could someone explain to me in a stepwise manner, how I image with a dslr on a sct at prime focus with a televue 2x Barlow (1.25in).

I have the sct t2 adapter, and can sit the dslr at prime focus and have attempted some lucky imaging video of Jupiter and Saturn. But how do I introduce the Barlow in the optical chain. There doesn't seem to be any place to thread or push fit it.

Thanks in advance.

Hemi, you'll need a T adapter. Basically this is just an extention tube that houses the eyepieces/barlow lenses. You can pick them up cheap on ebay for about $15. The T adapter goes into your scope's eyepiece holder and your T ring (camera connection) screws onto the other end of T adapter.
