iinet down?
Hi all,
Looks like iinet might be in a bit of strife as their email service is not operational, nor can their phone numbers get through to them. Oddly enough their internet is still working and calls to other numbers other than their own get through.
I started experiencing difficulties with email a couple of days ago, and now no life.
Anyone else having this problem?
Alex.

I heard on the radio this morning that Optus is having problems nationally at the moment so if they run via the Optus network, that could be related.

My son works for iiNet in Perth and he says their Network Operations Centre has gone into overdrive to get it fixed. That said, they aren't sure what's wrong and so can't provide an eta on the fix - but they are working furiously on it apparently.

I'm with tpg and the email has been playing up yesterday and this morning as well. Having trouble finding the server, but eventually gets sent.

I'm guessing you know that TPG is owned by iinet now though?

I think that's the other way around, but yes they are now owned by the same mob. You would think that they would still be using separate servers?

Still cactus here has been since early this morning. Methinks they are presently knackered trying to find the issue. It is affecting the whole of Australia.
