G'day everyone, I haven't been around for what seems like forever, and to be honest I haven't had time to do much imaging either. Anyway I did manage to punch out this 6 panel mosaic of Eta Carina over the last month or so. Thanks for taking a look. As always, critique and advice is always welcome.

Very nice Rex, quite a large mosaic that has been well executed.
Thanks Colin.

Thanks Rodney, stars overpowering my images has been an ongoing problem. I think I have finally found a way to process them that works for me. I guess we will find out when I use it to process the stars on my next image. Here's hoping.

Thanks Rick. I actually did really enjoy this one. Instead of just processing the way I usually do, I experimented with lots of different processes and different settings as I went. I actually felt like I learnt a lot, and that's always a bonus.
gosh that is impressive. The bright bits may be a bit burnt out, but I guess that is the price for bringing out all of the dim stuff. This is a really enjoyable image to look around in.
Great Mozaic Rex, the big version is fun to swim around and the mozaic looks seamless but opening the Very large version and then shrinking it in your browser to about 50% it looks excellent

Thank you Ray. I'll revisit and try to address the burnt out bits. It's funny, now that it's been pointed out it's very obvious, not sure why I didn't notice it before. A fresh set of eyes does wonders. Thanks for the help.

Mike
Thanks Mike. I'm still working out how to set up the images in pbase. medium and large are still pretty small.

Thanks Bo, it feels good to get some time out. Hopefully there will be plenty more coming.
Thanks Paul. I was actually expecting to receive some comments about it being a little too red, so I'm glad you like the colour. It is colour calibrated and the histograms came out fairly balanced so I was happy with it too.

Thanks Scott. It has been too long mate, but unfortunately life isn't all fun and games and sometimes we don't get to do what we want.
