Definitely not. they still had the yearly star party and it said that at that time.

The LMDSS is always shut when there is a total fire ban. Maybe someone went up there without realising that and reported it somehow?

Well it isn't open to randoms who google it, so in that sense, yes it is closed. Don't turn up and expect to get in. If you are a member, then you will know the secret handshake
