NGC 3621 Galaxy

Two days ago I spent $60 (cost of a packet of smokes these days) and purchased startools and had a go at NGC3621 to see if it is an improvement on my previous efforts.

Must say I am impressed , considering I am only using the default settings for each module, I haven't had a chance to play with the sliders yet and see what they do.

This is NGC3621 a mag 10 galaxy, 22Mly away in the Hydra constellation.

Cheers
Bill

Looking quite good, especially for just using the default settings. It appears like it may have black clipped it a bit though.
The centre of the galaxy looks a bit over sharpened but the rest of the stars look good so I am going to assume that is just an artefact of image compression

Look forward to seeing what you can do when you slide into it
