Clavius with Registax 4

Hello,

After downloading and installing Registax 4 I just had to give it a go. Here is an image of Clavius from 9th May 2006. I just set everything to auto in Registax and used the new Multiple Alignment Points (MAP) function and it did a pretty good job.

Image acquired with a C9.25, x2.5 Powermate and Philips ToUcam 840K. Processing in Registax was limited to Wavelet setting 1 = 25

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks guys. I should have mentioned that the original avi was captured during a spell of very good seeing, so the final result is more to do with the seeing rather than R4 in this case. I must dig up the R3 version and do a comparison.

Cheers

Cripes Dennis, if that is auto pilot then even us dummies (no not you) stand a show.
It would make a good comparison though, R3 Vs R4.

I'm not one for many lunar images (usually prefer it to not be visible) but occasionally there are images of the moon that really grab me - this is one, it really feels like you could reach out and touch it. Very nice composition, cropping etc to create that effect together with the sharp high resolution image.

Roger.
