Image for Charlotte

Hi All

a while back i mentioned that a friend of mine had a daughter that died at the age of 3. they asked me to take a picture of alpha cent because it always reminds them of her. i managed to get to it this week and here are the results.

https://www.facebook.com/61868816154...type=3&theater

there is either a minor collimation or tracking error issue because the background stars are a little egg shaped, need to work on that one. this was made up of 15, 15 second images taken LRGB. i think the only people who will notice the shapes of the stars are those on this forum so i am going to stick with it.

overall i am happy with the result but more over, i am just happy i can do something that might give some comfort to the family.

thanks for looking

A nice thing to do for your friend Aidan, and the image is a nice one with a simple yet meaningful title. I'm sure it will help them remember their daughter.

Thanks Paul, i think the simpler and cleaner you can keep the image, the better it is

Not trying to detract, but "This picture is of Charlotte star. "

would better read "This picture is of Charlotte's star. "

just a typo on that one, the version i gave to the parents had "Charlotte's Star" in the bottom right hand side. i shouldn't write a post from my phone while walking in the city
