Up for sale is my Celestron C14. Fork mounted, orange tube, 1981 model. The original big SCT we all wanted. Lovingly restored a few years ago.
Comes with all accessories, finder, shipping trunks and even original manuals. Great optics. Will throw in a couple of eyepieces and will negotiate this with a serious buyer.

It's simply too big for me to lug around and after wanting one ever since I was young bloke pressing my nose into the window at Astro Optical Supplies in Crows Nest, I sadly don't use it anywhere as much as I thought I would.
Currently it's "de-forked" and sitting on a computerised Celestron CGEM DX mount and tripod. The mount is for sale separately for $1600.
I would consider selling the two together for just under $4k.

I'm in the Sutherland Shire south of Sydney. Given the size of the telescope and mount, shipping would be very problematic and would prefer a local buyer at this stage.
