Moon with 10" Dob

Got my adapter to put my dslr onto my 10" dob and took these of the moon. A whole new image processing setup to learn I'm pretty happy with them considering I had no idea what I was doing with registrax..

Canon 550D
Full size is 640x480 movie mode
Close up is 640x480 crop in movie mode

nice one Tim, getting some good lunar details there, perhaps a little overexposed which can easily be adjusted next time.

didn't have a crack at Jupiter or Mars while you were out?

cheers

Thanks, yeh I did get some of Jupiter but I don't really know how to use registrax properly and I have no idea how to process planetary either. I did the moon processing as verbatim from a pixinsight moon tutorial, so it was less of knowing what I was doing and more of just copying someone else's processing flow. I will have another go at it when I've got a bit more time to research processing methods and look more into best methods for using registrax.
