Mercury transit - Canberra

Just wondering whether there are any planned get-togethers in Canberra for Thursday morning's big show?

This might need moving to Star Parties?

Sorry mods

Matt, there is a get-together by the Canberra Astronomical Society at Red Hill lookout, starting early :-)

The transit starts at 6.15am (just after sunrise) and there should be a group there with solar scopes etc. Leisa & I will be dropping in around 7.30am for a while.

cheers, Bird
