Antlia cluster

i had some data of the Antlia cluster which i thought was throwaway but i wanted to try out some processing techniques on it. i am happy with how it turned out for what i wanted but clearly there are data issues. so please ignore the massively out of collimation and out of focus scope this was just 1 5 min sub on each RGB channel and about 45 mins of Lum. more data is needed to bring out the colour.

thanks for looking

I think this will be a very interesting shot to go deep with. First light?

Not a first light, I haven't bothered going down and collimating the scope properly because it doesn't hold it well over time and it is being replaced shortly. The plan was to go deep but I pulled the plug when the data was just too bad.

ahh sorry, originally that was the plan. i wanted to take some shots with the old scope then with the new scope. but i am thinking want to leave this till next year when everything is settled down and have a Rolf like mammoth run at it. so i am now thinking that my first light will be the antennae galaxies. should be a really good target for the new scope but open to suggestions.

Nice job, Aidan. You could have numbered all the little fuzzies, to save me
the job of counting them .
