Exclamation Mag 8.3 earthquake west of Sumatra. Stay away from water's edge western Australia.

A magnitude 8.3 earthquake followed by a magnitude 7.8 earthquake
six seconds later has been reported 808km south-west of the city
of Padang in West Sumatra.

A tsumani warning has been issued including for Cocos and Christmas
Islands.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology has also put a watch alert
for the western Australian coast, including as far south as Perth.
They said no evacuations are required in West Australia but people should
