Orb Weaver

Was very difficult to get lighting right; the flash was much too bright,
so I used my head light [LED]. I don't have a macro lens, so used my
Tamron 18-200mm. Also nowhere to put a tripod, so hand held.
Imagine one of these a metre across

"imagine one of these" hmmm, yes I just think of walking out at night then face first into one of those huge orb webs with that friend in the middle Nice images too, Mark

Thanks Mark, yes they have a fairly painful bite, but only occasionally
cause mild symptoms such as a bit of nausea.
