Dangar Falls at Dorrigo

Hi all

Here's some pictures of Dangar Falls, up at Dorrigo. The family and I went there during our holiday up to Coffs Harbour.

My parents live at Bellingen, not far from Dorrigo. It's such a beautiful area. The winding road up to Dorrigo is not for those who get car-sick easily

These were taken with the 350D+18-55mm lens, 3x ND filter, in the blazing mid-morning sun. 1/3s exposure for most of them.

Some cows happened to stop by and drink from the creek at the top of the falls - you can see them in most of the shots.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful shots Mike.
I like the first one the best with the rock face. The flowing water is very effective.

Very nice Mike. Been there to play in my Vertical Rescue days.

Will images 3 and 4 go together in a vertical panorama?

Al.

Those are beautiful images Mike, so picturesque and tranquile.
Lovely work, well done.

Gee that 3x ND really did a great job for this time of the day.

It's a lovely area, Mike. The last two times I visited, around 30 years ago, the road up from the coast was shrouded in mist (and I didn't even have a telescope with me). I thought the twists and turns would never end.

Did you manage to image the Aspley Falls? Given that they are much closer to Walcha I'm guessing not. They are not as spectacular, in sense of width, as are the Dangar Falls but, by crikey, it's a long drop.
