LX200 dec runaway

Hello
I looks like my new, old (circa1994) scope is suffering from dec runaway on power up. Anyone in Perth know of a shop or person with the skills to assist with repair please?

Cheers

Remove the cable and give the cable connectors and sockets a good blow. Dust sometimes get into the connectors.

Also try pushing the cable connector to the right and power up and do the same to left. This doesn't solve the problem but can get you up and running.

Hello
Thanks for the reply.
After much research I fixed the problem by adjusting the pots next to the motor. Next to grab a soldering gun and sort the caps.

Any experts local in Perth?

Cheers
