Thats a beauty. Patience has rewarded you. Very sharp focus to me. Were you concealed in a hide? Can you tell me the lens and camera body used and how far away the bird was. From the look of its eye, it sure knows your'e there. Mark

Thanks everyone.
No hide Mark. I position my 4x4 so I could sit quietly near the front wheel. 400 x 5.6 L prime lens on a 7D. I was , maybe 4mtrs from the bird.
