M31 from Norway.

Approximately 8 hrs of data (300s + 600 s), darks and flats.

This time I've processed the image in pixinsight. I got help with the stacking (thank you Kenneth Sneis) and done the processing myself (some adjustments in Photoshop but the main work in pixinsight).

The processing is not very subtle, though.....

Pixinsight have solved all my "color"-problems. A great program.

Shot through my WO 90mm with Atik 383l+ color camera, guided with a Loadstar through my C9.25. Everything on an eq8 mount.

Wow nice work. 8 hours data an an object that bright has yielded some impressive results. I don't think I have ever seen granular detail in the satellite galaxies before ,outside of a Hubble image.

Thank you. I am afraid that there are some artifacts showing in m110. Also the darker dust clouds in its core have vanished in the processing

In addition, some of the stars look "twisted". However, I allow myself to be temporarily satisfied.

I have 2 more hours (without flats) that I plan to add, and I will try not to be has heavy-handed when processing my full set of images.

It still appears to be a nice image of it, although at only 200kb it is difficult It is an object that I wish I could image but it never gets higher than about 12º from my location.

Beautiful image - thanks for sharing.
My main suggestion would be to review the black clipping and masking if there is a V2 - the delineation between galaxy and background seems harsh.

I was about to mention the missing dustlane in M110,also I thought you would have brought out the light bridge between it and M31.
I have never seen an Halo/Bump around M32 before,Is it real

I agree that the boundary between the Galaxy and the background is a bith harsh/abrupt (not very subtle) and I Guess there is reasonable doubt about the halo around m32.

I will look into it on my next try.
