Exclamation Astronomy 2007 - register your interest!

Hi all.

Please register your interest in getting the fabulous Astronomy 2007 Yearbook by Quasar Astronomy through an IceInSpace bulk order.

Astronomy 2007 is a must-have yearly almanac with tonnes of info about observing the night sky during 2007. It contains star charts and other ephemeris, dates and details of important astro events during the year and much more.

I'll receive more details at the end of October (costs etc), but this thread is just to start gauging interest to see who would want to obtain their copy in this fashion.

The benefits of getting your copy through an IceInSpace Bulk Order are:
1) Low cost
2) Delivery to your door
3) Supporting IceInSpace!

So please vote in the poll so I know how many to order. The poll isn't binding, that is, you're not forced to buy one by voting yes, but I would expect you to follow through. I don't want to be left with over $450 worth of Astronomy 2007 books sitting at home!

Payment will be via direct deposit into my bank account (or paypal +2%). It may also be possible to save a few dollars by local pickup at Kulnura (for those that go to the monthly new moon observing).

Thanks!

I actually bought a copy last year myself, and then I got a copy for Christmas! It is the one book I wouldn't be without. I just wish it came out earlier so I can see what is happening next year..there isn't a lot more happening for the rest of this year (occultations, Moon and planet conjunctions, eclipses etc).

I'm the "Maybe" at the moment. Sorry I can't be more positive, Mike. If I can I'll confirm later. Thanks for your efforts.

I might add here too that if you are one of the people who vote/indicate that your prepared to buy it, Mike has to commit to a bulk purchase. Don't lead him up the garden path and pull out at the last moment and leave him high and dry!

Good idea! I will definately purchase from Iceinspace. Hopefully I may be able to get it quicker than the local market supplies over here. Had to wait until Feb. for this years copy. Great book though. I use it in conjuntion with our local version (Western Australian Almanac). There are bits unique to each of them.
