M42

Hi all, I noticed that Orion was poking over the trees the other night so I thought that I would grab a quick image of M42 before I packed up for the night.
This is a series of 60 20 second images, 30 in Lum and 10 each with Red, Green & Blue filters then processed with MaximDL.
It was only a quick image so I will be after some better shots when its a bit higher.

cheers

Very good, Ric. Great detail visible in the reflection neb/dust cloud. You're looking good to nail this when it gets out of the trees.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I've only been imaging with the DSI since June this year so I really appreciate them.

Cheers
