Another go at 47 Tuc

This is a combined effort of two imaging sessions in late Nov and new years eve.
The late Nov sessions involved 70 subs of very short exposures (15-20 secs) at 400 ISO and the new years eve were 20 subs of 30 secs at 1600 ISO (the clouds were rolling in and I wanted to maximise the capturing).
After some initial hiccups with stacking http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=141606 I managed to get about 63 usable frames out of total of 90 (compared with 69 frames if I stacked the two imaging runs separately).
Anyway, here is the effort.
Comments welcome!
Bo

Thanks Pat, still playing with the colour balance. Digital processing is something I am learning slowly.

in my experience, globular clusters are extremely difficult to get the colouring right on. the colour balance may need to adjusted to take out the red tinge, but other than that it is looking really good. great tracking, the stars look perfect.

Thanks Aidan. I will have a go at cutting down the red.

Thanks Raymo, a combination of things: the camera is modified, the late Nov batch was done in my backyard under light pollution and via UHC-s filter. The new year batch was done under dark skies. Plus my processing skills are rudimentary

Fair enough, but I bet your processing skills are not as rudimentary as mine.
