Where is the best place in TAS to take pics of aurora?

Hi all,

Im from Sydney just wonder where is the best place to take pics of Aurora in Tas? I know I have to rent a car and a room to stay overnight.

Most places away from town are good , you don't have to go far Tasmania is 80%+ dark site
I'm on the NW coast Ulverstone I have got it from my driveway looking over town
Or I go to Brandon 's lookout a bit darker

Huon Valley is in the deep south of Tassie, so probably the best location geographically. I get some really spectacular shows at my place! Just have to beat the clouds...

Barry's right further south the better
But can be seen easily in most of Tas clouds permitting
