Orion Nautilius AFW and Windows 10

Has anyone else had trouble getting this particular AFW to communicate with Win10? I had the same problem with Win8, but it worked after disabling the Driver signature verification. I would have thought Win8 and 10 to be very similar in this regard.

Orion said that Windows 8 drivers are incompatible with Windows 10, and that the drivers are not yet available.

I have the 2" filter wheel, and the drivers have never worked well with win 7. I upgraded to windows 10 on my astro rig and it works better on Win 10 than it did on win 7, 64 bit.

The problem I use to have is that every time I started the computer I would need to wait until it started up then I would need to physically unplug the FW then replug it to get it to work.
With win 10 it starts just fine on start up but normally crashes half way through a session. Not such a big deal as I normally spend an whole session on one spectrum.

Orion's drivers are crap, really crap.

I had the occasional connectivity issue with Win8 but generally no trouble, just reconnection only. I just wish I spent the extra $200 to get the Atik to use with my Atik CCD. I have to change filters 'manually' if I need to change filters during a session. Have to wait until my Win8 laptop gets fixed to use it now.

interestingly Orion no longer sell the 2" version. If you look at the website there are many complaints about the driver for the 2" FW, mine included.
