I have been checking with Newsagencies for the January Sky & Telescope. Today, the Newsagency on my way home was gone (out of business). A victim of the online world, I suppose.

Anybody seen a January copy yet?

It's available online through zinio. You'll need customer service help if you are purchasing via your iTunes account. That was another bloody ordeal but once sorted I got my January copy electronically.

Great issue. There is an article there about research into uneven binary stars, I.e. Where the primary and companion stars are of uneven magnitude. Great opportunity to join an international effort to make some observations. Have a read of it and see if you can join in.

Good luck getting your copy, I've had trouble getting mine so I feel your pain. I always seem to forgive and forget once I get the latest copy and dive into reading it. Until next month's dramas of course.... Grrr......
