Up for sale is my EQ6.
Has served me well but I upgraded and was going to keep it to use every couple of months at my mate's country property but the missus has other ideas, so this one has to go!
Mount is approx 3-4 years old, and I'm the 2nd owner. EQ6's are rated up to 20kgs and are very popular mounts, both for visual and astrophotography.
Comes supplied ready to use with an 18Ah sealed lead acid battery, powercable & alligator clips. Eyepiece holder, Handcontroller (running the reliable Synscan v3.27) Tripod and Two counterweights.
The counterweights could use a lick of paint, and there's no original packaging or the cradle for the hand controller, I just use velcro on the tripod which works fine.
The unit was recently diss-assembled, cleaned and tuned, and all internal bearings etc. were checked and re-greased with superlube.
I havn't used it for a few months so I field tested it last night. Ran a two star alignment and did six go-to's and all the selected objects happily centred in the frame

I've also attached a 14x10min Ha shot of the Horsehead and a phd guiding graph - also taken last night so you can see how it's currently performing.
A new one from Bintel will now set you back $1999 and the powersource is a further $169

To keep the missus happy, I'll let this go for a quick sale at half that price - $1070 + post/freight if you're not in Melbourne.
