It's a strange feeling Col, although I retired a few years ago, it never felt like it as there has always been stuff to do with regard to leases etc. Now I can really relax and enjoy my time with my beautiful granddaughter.

I decided to give myself a retirement present and placed an order for a little mount for my CN212, the mount is being taken off the factory production line as we speak and will be going to the paint shop for some custom work.

Good for you Matt.
Care to offer advice on what a young person should do?
Or how to invest cash wisely?
I have three guidelines for real estate but none for cash management even at my age.

You would have to talk to my wife about that Alex ,
over the years I thought 9 BMWs, 6 catamarans, 27 pairs of skis, sea kayaks, Jetskis were good investments......

At the moment I am still trying to convince her that telescopes and eyepieces are good investment

You should tell your wife that a TEC-300 triplet is a great investment, it may take a few years to come off the production line but will likely be worth more by then

Apparently it's now 100 years since the presentation by Einstein to the Prussian Academy of Sciences of his 'field equations', which form the core of General Relativity. Thinking about that makes today better.

Well, I went back to work after a month off with an injury. When you are a casual with no sick or other leave that makes it a very good day!
