Nice. Not as colourful, which seems to be true of many of the the females of the bird variety.

Thanks Trev. If my memory serves me correct ( most times it doesn't these days.) the Eclectus parrot is one of very few where the female is as pretty as the male, if not prettier.

Another nice shot.What lense do you primarily use for your bird shots?

Thanks Derek. I use a canon 7D camera with a 400/5.6 L lens. Getting a bit old now, but will have to do until the boat comes in.

Thanks for the reply I have the same lens and its sharper than my Tamron 150-600.
