All Heart

New Macro Lens (swapped my Sigma 70 for the Canon 100) and the fungi season is over, so I needed to start testing this thing out and I discovered the hearts of flowers. Now I'm mad for them.
Still need to master this macro lens though.

They look good Trev. Does you lens have IS? If not you need a tripod and a remote shutter release.

Cheers Reverend.

Awesome subject and great captures Trevor - Ive got heaps of these, luv capturing the flowers this close, filling the frame with beauty, structure, detail & color !!
Reckon it wont take you long to perfect this new lens, going by your fungi captures ! Personally I reckon they're just fine
Looking very forward to more from you in this new field

No IS REV, and yup, I know. That little movement forward or backward after focusing is deadly.
Would love one of those lenses Derek, to replace my 70-300 ISM USM one. Although it isn't the cheapest version, it still isn't in the same league as yours.

Cool pics, Trev! I'd love to do more macro but at present I don't have enough time just to process astro pics.

Cheers,
Rick.
