The fundamental interconnectedness of Orion's nebulae

Here's 20 3 minute subs through a 50mm lens at f4 and the D810a on a Polarie from last weekend. I need to do some flat fielding for the 50mm, so this is slightly cropped. I love the way you can join up M78, M42, B33 all as part of the Orion Molecular complex. The witch's head stands out pretty well too!

Thanks Ray, I had no idea the witch head was part of the same cloud as barnards loop until now.

It's better than the D800, and is proving to be a good daylight camera as well, although I am trying to figure out something odd that happens with raw data from it. More info when I do...

It was a very long night of "unattended" imaging out in the bush with me spending too much time in front of a laptop and not enough eyepiece time.

Nice one Andrew, very detailed I took some similar shots last week with my 70mm but it doesn't get it all in as I'm using an APS-C chip
