Hi all.
I was testing out my camera through my newly built scope when I snapped a few chosen parts of the Southern Sky. This was my first attempt in astrophotography.

:
Afterwards I had a look to see what eventuated. I knew the scope wasn't properly collimated but I managed to capture a few stars and something else.
After expanding the image, the object in question is to the [left of centre, and it looks something like an asteroid.
I would appreciate all and any help in identifying what it is.

Thanking all in advance
