I choose NGC 6563, a planetary nebula in Saggittarius. Its well placed for observation now, and is "medium" size so a target for DSLRs on scopes and longer fl lenses, as well as DSI and similar cameras. Its not rediciously faint either

80 secs in diameter and mag 14 in blue. It has a mix of red and blue like the Helix so is good for both modded and unmodded DSLRs

3x5 mins ISO 800 UHCS filter, MPCC and modded 350D on 10 inch scope
