Astrofest Swan

So the last few astrofest's I've been shooting targets I can't get from the big smoke in Brisbane. But this year I've decided to hit some easy targets and try and give them a bit of low light pollution treatment.

Very nice, Chris. Perhaps just a little to heavy on the saturation? But who am I to talk

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks guys. Saturation is a very personal thing.

Maybe I'm also going colourblind in my old age because looking back over my previous images I get the feeling over the past year I've been pushing the saturation limits more and more.

Hi, Chris,

The swan itself is excellent. I like the intense colour in the nebulosity very much. The stars however look a tad fierce. Perhaps you might like to mask out the stars when setting the saturation.

You had a great haul at AstroFest!

Best,
Mike

I'm beginning to agree I hit a bit too much on the saturation, especially the blue saturation. I've backed it off a bit. Thoughts?
