Orion Sword and Belt from the Flinders Ranges

Great for imaging up here this weekend.

Awesome shot Jeff. Fantastic colours, really well framed and you just gotta love the Ha that modded canons can show up. Well done!

Lovely job. A couple of processing tricks could quieten down the blown
out core of M42.

Really jealous I couldn't get up there but no spots and combined with the fact I became I footy widow over the weekend doen't help. All that said great shot mate, looks like you got things sorted. Tony.

Thanks, David, Bruce Raymo and Colin. I still have another 15 frames that I took on the next night which I have not tried to integrate and I have some shorter frames to do some HDR on the brighter nebulae. I might get around to doing that next weekend.

It was a good turnout, Tony. I got Mary D started on some imaging and she has some great first shots. Steve W got his first good image of M31. They will probably be in the November Bulletin. Cheers.
