Up for grabs is a Saxon ED100 Doublet Refractor with an aftermarket GSO Linear Focuser.
I bought the scope brand new from Astronomy Alive at the very end of April for $1,035.70. I then paid an additional $267.20 to ship a GSO Linear Bearing focuser in from the US, since no one seemed to have the refractor version here.
The GSO Linear Bearing focuser is a massive improvement on the stock focuser and it has held my full imaging train without slipping or breaking a sweat.
The scope also comes with the accessories that it shipped with: diagonal, two eyepieces, tube rings and a finderscope. I'll have to check the size of the eyepieces as I've never used them.
All up this cost me a smidgen over $1300 just over 3 months ago. I'm after $650 plus post, although I'd prefer a local buyer.
The optical tube does have some cosmetic nicks and scratches, but hey, it works flawlessly and is half the price I paid for it and just over 3 months old so I'd say that more than makes up for it ;-)
I'm only selling because I'm upgrading to a 120mm Esprit.
I've used this scope purely for imaging. I understand it's meant to be good for planetary visual work in particular, but since that's not my thing and I've never even put an eyepiece to it, I can't be sure.
This scope was used to capture these images recently:
