C/2014 Q1 PanStarrs and C/2013 US10 Catalina.

Hi,

Finally some clear skies!!

C/2014 Q1 PanStarrs was taken Saturday 8/8/15.
It was good to get more than few minutes between clouds.. This image is a total of 15 x 2 minute subs at ISO 1600 thorough 8" astrograph unmodded Canon 1100D.

C/2013 US10 Catalina. was taken 7/8/15.
Had trouble stacking the imges in DSS, there were so many small stars close to the comet it just wouldn't register properly.
I used registax 5 instead, showing the dust and ion tail quite well.

Cheers,

Justin.

You have done well with panstars, its fading fast, but still has those nice fan tails. Catalina is warming up nicely, should be an interesting few weeks ahead.

Thanks Rick!

Panstarrs has been a challenge, almost constant cloud and low altitude making it difficult to get a decent image.

Thanks Luis!

Catalina looks like it's going to be interesting, changing quite rapidly.
