How to avoid getting a dot from the secondary mirror in my photos

So I'm very new to photography I just have a cheap camera/phone mount on my dob to take simple shots to show family and friends. But in the middle of my camera screen I pick up the shadow of the secondary mirror. How do I avoid that

Adrian - what does your setup look like?
Are you leaving the camera lens on and the eyepiece in the telescope focuser?

I have personally found this issue to be caused by using a wider angle eye piece. In some instances I have found myself getting better results from a 10-25mm Plossl than my nice wider Televue eye pieces.

James I'm just using my phone camera and a normal digital camera I don't have an slr or one with a lense. I did only try with a 32mm Ep
So maybe it is the wide Ep

I have tried it on my 35mm Panoptic and always get the secondary in my LX200. When I put on a cheap 25mm EP it goes away.
