M83 single frame

75 secs @ ISO 3200. 8" as usual. You need to tip your screen toward yourself to see the top half of the galaxy properly.

Amazed at what 1 shot can do and a dark location. I struggle with so much light pollution. Great work Ray.

Thanks Kon. My location is not that dark, the sky in the pic is very dark
because I had to darken it to hide the imperfections introduced by
the extremes I had to go to to try to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
