Excellent image, Zac! The large format cameras produce very large stunning mosaics!

Very nice work.

Hi Zac

That is another excellent image of one of my favourite areas of the moon, and one of the most interesting too. I note that you have resolved the chain of tiny craterlets in the rille inside the Alpine Valley.

Cheers

Dennis

Sweet image Zac,
those extra wide fields and sharp focus across the entire image creates that "I am orbiting the moon in a spaceship" kind of type of feeling

Thanks everyone.

Dennis, yes not many are aware of this tiny crater chain in the Alpine Valley. It is thought they formed in a similar manner to the Huyginus rille crater chains, through eruptive forces rather than impact.
