Came home from work and saw the news about the flyby in my facebook feed at 5:30pm, so I got my camera and tripod out and set up.
Trees were close, but if I set the tripod in the corner of my yard and stretched everything out to the tallest I could just get it all in
Tripod was so wobby I used 10 seconds self timer.
Had no idea of how close the ISS would be, and it appeared out of nowhere right between Jupiter nad Venus when I looked up. Took a shot and waited 10 seconds while it drifted North and was now above Venus by the time the exposure started
Was still fun
