Venus / Jupiter Conjunction, July 1st.

Venus / Jupiter Conjunction - FSQ106N _ Baader FFC x 3, SONY NEX-5

Series of exposures ranging from 1/2000s ISO 200 to 25s ISO 1600 for the background stars and the video.

Tried to make the photo interesting by showing the true relative brightness in the background star field.

I had plenty of 25s frames to get a star background for my final montage when I noticed Venus was moving quite fast, so I did a short 4s video of the relative motion of Venus and Jupiter.

Full res is here: [1.7MB - 2068x1392]
Enjoy the view.

Thanks Russel. Yeah I was surprised how fast. Jupiter is moving too. Even its moons.
