I wish !
I was trying various positions for a nightscape with the Kitchener Poppet Head as the terrestrial subject and you can imagine my surprise when I looked at this shot. Whoa, what the hell is that.
I looked to the heavens, rather apprehensively, but couldn't spot the object.
Must be some fault with the lens so I banged off some more shots and it was still there.
Hmmm, lets enlarge it and see what we have. Oh, I can see stars through it.
Bugger, there goes the UFO theory. I then took some more shots away from the Poppet Head and it didn't show.
The moon was above it and about 30° to the left so I was pretty sure it wasn't causing the effect. Wrong ! I took a shot of the moon and there below it was something that looked suspiciously like my UFO.
Oh well, I still have a rather interesting shot to look at.
