Saturn and satellites 3/5 Jun 2015

Hi all,

I was blessed with two amazing nights of steady seeing last week. Braving sub-zero temperatures I was able to push my SCT to amazing focal ratios (F36 and F40 with the ASI cam).

Here are some of the captures of Saturn and its moons I was able to record on Wednesday and Friday night. Majority are WinJUPOS de-rotated drizzle stacks, wide field satellite image has been composited in Photoshop CS6.

Thanks for looking,
Sebastian

Very nice indeed, I don't envy you the sub zero temps though.

Wow, amazing images.

12" really does seem to be a good aperture.

Thanks Bob, John, Abhi, Dunk and Justin. Yes it was an exceptional night for imaging if not a bit uncomfortable temperature wise

Bob, I was using TeleVue 2x Barlow combined with William Optics 1.6x binoviewer nosepiece.
