The Swan Nebula

Hi,

I have just over 11 hours on this beautiful nebula. 6h 40m luminance (10 min subs 1x1 binning), and 1h 30m for each RGB (5 min subs 2x2 binning). Taken with my W/O flt 110 and stacked in DSS and processed in photoshop.

I really have no idea how to control the stars blowing out so any advice would be great as I plan on going back and having another go tomorrow. I have also chucked in my Hydrogen Alpha 5h 40 m of 20 minute subs which is blown out but was crious to see what I had captured. I am going to have another go at including the Ha but I have found that blending Ha with red and then doing a Ha/R,G,B stack but I get terrible looking stars.

Anyway a learning experience.

Mark
