I have just put in a quick question about downsizing to a tent. Short reply. I guess I won't be getting one after all.

Would love to see the optical tests and first light! Wonder what they will mount this sucker on? Not often you see an APO that a EM-3500 or an AP 3600 couldn't hope to handle!

The cost of refractors and telescopes in general don't increase linearly with aperture. Certainly some sort of power law or exponential trend. Custom made One offs, which this looks like to be, can fetch any amount the "payers" see fit.

I Wouldn't be surprised if this monster tips in at over 1 million dollars, plus software and transport costs.

I wonder if the optics are diffraction limited and does it come with a second lens.
