Great new Sony App for time lapse pan tilt shift

I really like the idea of the Sony apps, most though are clunky & the interface they load in is slow. The timelapse one is handy when you dont have a remote

You can do this in LR timelapse.

Isn't that a lot of work though? I thought that program was very CPU intensive and took a lot of work to get out a time lapse. I used to like the Nikon D800e time lapse feature as it was simply set and download the result.

Which camera are you using? They aren't quite the same as a native in camera feature but I don't recall them being slow to load. I am using an A7r.

No worse than processing a CCD image. I haven't used it for a while, but once you understand the methodology it was fairly straightforward. I don't disagree in-camera is "easier", but postprocessing give you "options"

Yes I was being lazy but I didn't see much of a resolution drop from the Nikon jpeg output compared to what was being posted. But then others may disagree and I am not looking hard enough.

I've only used the Timelapse app but I find it's a bit slow to load on my A7s
